Photo Contest: Open July 1-Sept. 30
There are four categories: Landscape, Wildlife, Adventure Lifestyle (People & Pets), and Macro. There is no limit to how many photos you can enter. However, photos should be 2-5 MB and taken from the North Shore of Lake Superior and the wilderness around. Be sure to include your first and last name, email, and a description of your photo. You have until Wednesday, Sept. 30 to enter photos. Winners will be featured in the January 2027 issue of Northern Wilds Magazine.
Cash prizes will be awarded to the top three photos per category. This year’s photo contest winners will be selected by our judges: James Smedley, David Johnson, and Paul Sundberg. The 3rd place winner (per category) will be voted on by you, our readers. Voting will take place Oct. 5-19. You may vote once per email address, per category, daily. Note, the same person cannot win more than one category. If they have the top vote in more than one category, only the photo with the most votes will be chosen.
