Lake Superior North Shore Fourth of July Festivities

July 4

Head to Tofte for a full line-up of family-friendly events, beginning at 11 a.m., including food and a beer garden, live music by Josh Schmidt and Cook County’s Most Wanted, minnow races, an arts and crafts show, bingo, bouncy houses, and a parade at 2 p.m. There will also be a spaghetti dinner at Zoar Lutheran Church at 5 p.m.

At roughly 10 p.m., find a spot in either Grand Marais, Tofte, Grand Portage, Two Harbors or Silver Bay for the fireworks show.

Or, head to Duluth’s Bayfront Festival Park for Fourth Fest, held from 4-11 p.m. There will be live music all evening by Born Too Late, The Slamming Doors, Superior Siren, and Junk FM. There will also be dozens of food, beverage and craft vendors. Fireworks start at 10:10 p.m. Admission is free.
