Indigenous Foods Expo

The American Indian Community Housing Organization will host Duluth’s first large-scale Indigenous Foods Expo on Sept. 21, bringing together Indigenous food producers, chefs, artists, musicians and community members to experience flavors and culture from across our Indigenous nations. There will be local and regional healthy and Indigenous food vendors, cooking and processing demos featuring Chef Sean Sherman (founder of The Sioux Chef), cultural arts activities, a 3-on-3 basketball tournament, and more. There will also be live music by Annie Humphrey, Jake Vainio, Wahwahtay Benais, and #theindianheadband. Held from 11 a.m.-3 p.m., this free, family-oriented and community-wide inclusive event will be held at Niiwin Indigenous Foods Market and Central Hillside Park.
