With his tongue firmly placed in cheek, this is what author Bill McDonald has done in Brandy & Summer Wine. This reviewer doesn’t know Thunder Bay well enough to fully appreciate the sharp satire, but suspect those who do know the city may find a few inside jokes within the pages. —Shawn Perich
